    Anxiety around a trip to the vets or salon can start with the car journey alone, for any pet. Waiting in reception with noises from other pets and people can all be very distressing so by the time they are called through they may already be extremely tense. Grooming at home eliminates this build up and being in familiar surroundings can reduce the worry for yourself and your pet.

  • Owners unable to leave home

How I work

I am here as an alternative to mainstream grooming

I work with your pet in your home where they feel most safe.

With Cat grooming I will remove the matted areas by shaving them out. I use specialised cat clippers that are much quieter which helps ease the stress for them. Many veterinary practices will not carry out a cat Dematt without a sedation, opting to have me come to you ceases the use of medication and the procedure is much less expensive.

As I work to minimise anxiety, I do not use drying equipment. In my experience this causes a lot of stress for some pets, this is why I ask that for Dog grooming (if you can) they have a wash the day before so that their coat is clean and dry and ready for their haircut. If you are unable to do this, please ask when booking if you would like me to wash your dog after their haircut so that they can dry naturally afterwards.
